From invite to compliant: the supplier journey in SupplySure

A simple guide to what suppliers can expect after they are invited into SupplySure, from creating an account through to sharing a compliant profile.

Step 1: Receive the invite

Your customer sends you an invitation to connect in SupplySure. That invite is the starting point for sharing your business details, insurance, and other compliance information in one place.

If the invite goes to a different email address than the one you use to sign up, you can still connect by entering the invite code inside your supplier account.

Step 2: Create your free supplier account

If you are new to SupplySure, you will first create your supplier account. There is no subscription fee and no credit card required for suppliers.

Once you are in, SupplySure walks you through the basics of your business profile so you can stop sending the same information to every customer one by one.

Step 3: Add your business details

You will be asked for the core details your customers need to identify and trust your business. That includes your ABN, contact details, the services you provide, and where you operate.

The goal is to build one clear supplier profile that you can reuse whenever another customer invites you to connect.

Step 4: Answer a few questions so SupplySure knows what applies to you

Not every supplier needs to provide the same documents. A business with employees, vehicles, or on-site work may need different compliance items than a supplier providing office-based services.

That is why SupplySure asks a short set of business questions before showing your requirements. Once that is done, the platform can tailor the next steps to your business instead of showing irrelevant paperwork.

Step 5: Upload the documents you already have

After your profile is set up, you will see the insurance documents and declarations that apply to your business. For most suppliers, that means uploading certificates you already use today and completing a few straightforward forms.

Everything is organised in one place, so you can see what is complete, what is still in progress, and what is waiting for review.

  • Upload your insurance certificates
  • Complete the declarations and questionnaires that apply to your business
  • Submit anything your customer has specifically requested

Step 6: Track progress and respond if something needs attention

SupplySure shows your progress clearly, so you always know where you stand. If something has been submitted and is waiting on review, you will see that. If something is missing or needs to be updated, you will see that too.

That makes it easier to stay on top of compliance instead of guessing whether your customer has everything they need.

Step 7: Reuse your profile with future customers

One of the biggest benefits for suppliers is that your profile is reusable. Once your business details and documents are in SupplySure, you do not have to start from zero every time a new customer invites you.

That saves time, cuts down on repeated admin, and helps you get approved faster with every new connection.

The simple version

In short, the supplier journey is straightforward: receive an invite, create your free account, complete your profile, upload the right documents, and track your progress until you are ready to go.

SupplySure is designed to make compliance easier for suppliers, not heavier. The aim is less repetition, more clarity, and a faster path from invite to approved.
